When you use our Pify Announcement Bar & Banner app to create a bar and display it in your store, sometimes the default theme announcement, such as "Welcome to our store," or other information, may still appear at the top of your store.

If you do not need to display the announcement that is shown by default in the system, you can hide it in the theme.

You can hide the system default displayed announcement by following these steps

Step1：Enter your store's backend page and select "Online Store".

Step2：Click on the "Customize" button to customize the theme currently being used for your store.

Step3：On the customization page, select "Home page", and then you can see the Announcement bar in the "Header" section.

Step4：Click on the small eye icon on the right side of the Announcement bar block to hide the Announcement bar. Finally, click on "Save" to complete.
